Its summer in US and thats when i am travelling to chicago on a business trip. The enthu of visiting the birth place of technology is there , but i have already started feeling homesick. And when i feel that I am going to miss some fantatsic things out here….huh!!

All that aside, just the sheer planning and the small shopping itself was mind boggling and especially for a lazy guy like me it is a real tough task.

One of the things that i will be missing is the release of BABA movie (*ing rajini). The best day to watch rajini’s movie is the opening day opening show and thats the when you get a kick of rajini’s magnetism. I am diehard fan and this is the first in the last 10 years that I may not be watching 1st day 1st show.

I still hope to whistle ‘n’ watch 1st day 1st show in a chicago theatre. Any fan out there for my company???

Hey, I feel at the top of the world !!! Thats a cool feeling when you are the first of results in google. Just search for lazy geek in google and see my blog appearing at the top of the result else click here.

I know that google works on the number of links to the site and only based on that the ranking is made but I haven’t known how I reached there. Anyway feels like Di Caprio standing at the edge of Titanic and shouting. But …….am I drowning??

Looking at the nickname Lazy Geek, sometimes I am surprised as to how did I frame that. I think it was during on my midnight programming sessions at my project, I assumed myself as a guy who knows everything but pretty lazy to do put them in action. Looking back I feel it is viceversa. But this is what dictionary had to say about a geek

Thats a pretty good excuse ‘n’ explanation for the blogger’s block as defined by ceres. Here is what she had defined : *blogger’s block: a period of inability to write for your journal/web log; mainly because of a sincere wish to try and make it a useful one, and to stick by the standards you set for yourself. Good one! Ceres!!. Hope you come out of ASAP.

Just like Shakespeare in the movie “Shakespeare in Love” had a writer’s block here we are some 20% bloggers (don’t ask from where these stats came. just my assumption) who suffer from this bloggerblock-o-mania.

Guess what, I stand first there !!!!

VIVA :
These VIVA girls – Channel V Popstars really rock the show and a song by shankar mahadevan for them is as refreshing as Rehman’s first song for Roja. They are a pretty group of highly spirited youn talented girls who, I believe will stay for sometime.

I sometimes get a feeling that the ABBA of india hasn’t been born and we need a lot of push and support for the POP guys. The indie popers are really a bunch of gimmickers who belives that by good marketing and by good video they can survive the show which isn’t true. So these bands are ephemeral. But there are exceptions like lucky ali and other few. Lucky ali’s songs have a clandestine beauty and are mesmerising.

But thats just isn’t enough or an ABBA of India.

Weekend Blues :

Went around on a virtual round of blogs across the globe. Personal Journals have increased exponentially and there are some real quality creative writing up there that are missing in the .com sites. Some of the TEEN sites are still the best looked at for they have a good marketability (cheap too) on the content. A teen site has had 2 lakh hits since Jan’02 , can you imagine that for your blog ?

Weekend’s back and I am gonna hide between bedsheets and listen some good quality Metallica and some harcore 60’s jazz or Dave Mathews Band. If not I always have EMINEM to save me….The real slim shady…
