I was reading those lines thinking it was a kavithai scribbled by LG in a mood.I read it again n again but it didnt make much of a sense & then saw ur comment Ram.

Only then it struck me – now when I read that again with the tune, everything fell beautifully into place !

yeah, one of the best Kamal-Raja collaborations…but my all-time fav from their combo is undoubtedly Andhi Mazhai…just lose myself in that song, esp. the line, “Thanneeril Nirkum Pozhudhey Vaerkindradhu…” beautiful line from the pen of Vairamuthu.

Raaaja rajathi raajan intha raaja, … netru illa naalai illai eppovum naan raaja ..kottai illai kodiyum illai appavum naan raaja !!
And mani wantedly made IR to sing this song ..although Raaja initially refused .. it seems !!!

Brilliant beautiful song which IMO has the second best interlude [1st prize goes to “Ilamai idho idho”] ever composed – the 1st interlude of the song, almost orgasmic! 🙂

I thought all songs in Agni Natchatiram were penned By vaali. I would like to know why vairamuthu does not work anylonger with IR ? Also why mani rathnam is not working with IR after thalapathy ? Could anyone shed lite on this ?
