Appa – Sivaji [ganesan] oda first padam Parasakthi eduthathu AVM thaan. Athanaala Sivaji nyabhakarthama vechutaanga.
Me – Yaaru sonaanga ? Chumma kathai vidathapa.
Appa – Dina thanthi-la pottirukaan.
Me – Appidiya. Iru naan online-la pakaraen.
Appa – Athanaala Sivaji nyabhakarthama vechutaanga. Sivaji nyabhakarthama vechutaanga.
He repeated Athanaala Sivaji nyabhakarthama vechutaanga more than thrice. He is a long-time die-hard Sivaji fan. Me a die-hard Rajini fan. This is yet another point where we both agree on a same thing with regards to movies. Not that I hate Sivaji still I belong to the Rajini generation. He was so happy for Chandramukhi crossing 100 days with 50 crores. That was because Sivaji Films produced it.
Daily Thanthi adds to the gossip that Rajini/Shankar/AVM movie is named Sivaji. Seems like its named as a tribute to Sivaji as AVM produced Sivaji’s first movie Parasakthi. It would be silly if I highlight that Rajini is a Sivaji himself. Sivajikkey Sivajiya !!

Guru, Parasakthi was produced by National Pictures P.A. Perumal Mudaliar. In fact I read somewhere that AVM had rejected Sivaji Ganesan saying that he had a horse like face (Kudhirai Moonji)

Well, it is supposedly named sivaji, not due to any respects for sivaji ganesan, per say. As AVM came out of a deep s*** through the success of Gemini (named after Gemini studios), they are thinking that naming the movie after another studio/production house name (sivaji films) would give them success. Guess the name of their next film woul be vahini or super good.

Time and fortune is working for this man. Rajini carefully follows the tried and tested path(larger than life image)and has it has worked wonders for him. I think this flick with Shankar would be a different character potrayed by Rajini unlike the usual masala ones. All said and done, I guess it’s going to be a good film.

AVM PRODUCED THE FILM “MURATU KALAI” AFTER THE GAP OF 8 YEARS.( THEY STOPPED PRODUSING FILMS DURING THAT PERIOD). THAT FILM WAS A RECORD BRAKE NOT ONLY TO AVM BUT ALSO TO S P MUTHURAMAN AND RAJINI. AFTER SO MANY YEARS AVM PRODUCING SIVAJI WITH RAJINI. IF THIS FILM IS NOT GOING TO RUN FOR MORE THAN A YEAR, WHY DOUBT, UPCOURSE IT WILL RUN FOR MORE THAN A YEAR.

expectation will be at the highest form and level for this film…since only the best in the business is involving in this project..especially for shankar and ar rahman.superstar as usual….the only thing missing nowadays is the famous cigarette/cigar lighting style…..hopefully there is something like that in the new project………..all people should not compare or debate about the title sivaji…because…..even the great SIVAJI GANESAN is not born with that name….but our SUPERSTAR’S real name is with that name………ok guys
