Yet another deepavali-less year passes by. Have fun this dhoni deepavali.
P.S – Called home to wish and the only sound I heard was the cracker ‘music‘.

I suppose you are referring to not celebrating deepavali at home with parents. I empathise with you dude. Am sure many more will – lots of software guys must be in the same boat.
Happy deepavali anyway 🙂

Happy deepavali..Guru…And all objGuruBlogReaders
Am missing deepavali…my home…the smell of crackers…the thrill of new clothes…the taste of sweets…deepavali marundu….tv programs…payasam…the noise….the atmosphere of my hometown trichy…people crowding singarathope and mainguardgate…..the unbelievable energy of malakottai…crowds thronging uchipullayar…the empty buses on deepavali morning honking their way to glory from chatram busstand to central busstand…the throng of crowds arriving home from chennai, bangalore etc at the junction…Hmmm….and here i am in a strange land where ppl ask curiously abt “D-Wolly”…and nothing i describe to them abt the festival of lights can even remotely come close to experiencing the sights, smells and sounds of being in india….
so..to the millions of lucky people back there in India…Have a Happy diwali and keep in mind the unlucky group of ppl outside the country celebrating diwali in their minds and having NRI style dull evenings at temples and elsewhere…

Takes me back to my childhood.Happy memories. If you have a chance do check out a new social experiment site called Domeafavorbuddy. It’s a service in which people exchange favors for each other. A friend of mine is the creator and they would like people to test the system and give feedback.
